Our client is experiencing growth and looking to add to their accounting team. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, in the construction industry with strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, excellent organizational, management, and communication skills. This role will report to and work closely with the CFO.
This role is great for someone that is currently in an Accounting Manager or Asst. Controller role ready for a step up!
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions
Manage budget preparation and review budget vs. actual performance.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
Manage and lead accounting staff
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5+ years of accounting experience in construction industry
GAAP knowledge
Strong management, verbal, and collaboration skills
