Job Summary:

Eggs Unlimited is a family-owned company headquartered in Irvine, California. We are one of the largest egg companies in the USA, operated by a team of driven, customer-oriented, experienced individuals. We utilize our extensive experience spanning all aspects of the egg industry from farming to purchasing to freight and logistics. We're looking for a Materials Coordinator to help optimize and maintain proper stock levels for carton and packaging materials. This role is responsible for demand forecasting, reorder planning for cartons, and coordinating with various departments to ensure efficient supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with suppliers, manage logistics, and analyze consumption patterns to optimize stock levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Tracks inventory levels across multiple plant and storage locations nationwide, ensuring accurate stock counts and resolving discrepancies.
  • Forecast carton demand based on analysis of consumption patterns and historical data and plan reorder strategies to maintain optimal inventory level.
  • Communicate with suppliers to place orders for cartons and other supplies. Track order statuses, manage deliveries, and resolve any issues related to supply delays or quality concerns.
  • Work closely with the accounting, logistics, and sales teams to align inventory levels with sales forecasts and production schedules. Ensure smooth communication between all departments involved in the supply chain process.
  • Negotiates with suppliers and identifies opportunities for supplier consolidation or improved contracts.
  • Must be available to work over-time and occasional weekends.
  • Other essential duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and decimals, in all units of measure).
  • Superior excel reconciliation skills.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking skills, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years' experience in purchasing, accounting or supply chain
  • Requires in-person work Monday - Friday. Based out of Irvine, CA.
  • Ability to travel up to 5%.
