Job Role : Azure IIoT Architect
Work Location: Houston, TX(Onsite)
Job Description
Support the IIoT Platform team developing common scalable capabilities based on Azure IoT tools and services while integrating with the larger enterprise azure platform that provides common capabilities
The IIoT Platform team works primarily in a remote environment and adheres to SAFe Agile processes
Technical Skills
Required Experience with SOA applications and cloud based services preferably Azure Strong experience working with Kubernetes Experience working with Ansible Linux UNIX Docker and Microsoft Azure Knowledge of web services API REST and RPC
Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols including TCPIP DNS SMTP HTTP and distributed networks
Database experience including knowledge of Cosmos DB SQL and NoSQL and related data stores such as Postgres Experience with linux industrial computers and computer vision solutions
Extensive experience with software development and system engineering
Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace
Skilled at working in tandem with a team of engineers or alone as required Functional
Requirement
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering Masters degree a plus
Certification as an Azure Solutions Architect
Cloud Security Certification a plus
Other cloud related certification also a plus
