Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage mechanical projects from conception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, with an emphasis on resource allocation and risk management.
Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders.
Foster strong relationships with clients and subcontractors, promoting effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in mechanical project management, preferably within the commercial or industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and related technologies.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
