WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As a Project Portfolio Analyst, you will support overall portfolio management processes within the Agile Portfolio Management Office (APMO) by managing and maintaining portfolio data in Azure DevOps and conducting thorough analysis and reporting of project portfolios. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals and perform portfolio segmentation analysis to prioritize efforts. Your role will involve developing and tracking portfolio metrics, creating executive-level reports and presentations, and defining a comprehensive metrics and reporting framework. You'll leverage data to craft a metrics strategy that resonates with stakeholders, continuously refining it based on feedback and business needs. With your expertise in portfolio management and agile product management, you'll bring a critical thinking approach to reimagine and improve existing metrics and reporting, ensuring they align with the broader organizational vision.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field or equivalent number of years of experience.
Proficiency in product and portfolio analysis.
Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for portfolio management, metrics, dashboards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to communicate complex information effectively to various stakeholders.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management practices. Knowledge of SAFe Scaled Agile will be an advantage.
Knowledge and experience in Lean Portfolio Management (LPM)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support overall portfolio management processes within the Agile Portfolio Management Office (APMO).
Assist in the analysis, discovery and reporting of project portfolios.
Collaborate with business, cross-functional teams to ensure portfolio alignment with strategic objectives.
Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage intake process, portfolio data and workflows.
Conduct intake analysis for new efforts and initiatives.
Facilitate forums related to intake management and intake analysis with requestors, governance and solution leads.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate problems, opportunities, business value and alignment with strategic goals.
Develop Lean Business Cases based on intake analysis and discovery.
