The Client:
Our client is a leading AISC steel fabricator and erector across the Midwest and has been operating since the mid-1900s.
Responsibilities: • Manage the review drawings, specifications, and other documents, to successfully bid jobs at a profit, for fabrication and erection when indicated. • Work with the Project Management team following a successful bid, to ensure an accurate transfer of information and defining of scope, including revisions, additions, and deletions. • Present bids in their entirety, at job kickoff meetings. • Continue to work with Project Management on pricing issues pertaining to the bid or to revisions.
Requirements: • Strong management experience is essential. • Understand shop detail drawings, erection plans, and construction specifications • Understand construction concepts and methods • Proficiency with Tekla EPM / PowerFab
