Job Title: Project Coordinator Large Scale Projects / Cost Estimator for ERP Implementation
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator / Cost Estimator to support our ERP implementation projects within the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project coordination, cost estimation, executive level reporting and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and closing of ERP implementation projects. Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
Cost Estimation: Develop and maintain cost estimates for ERP implementation projects. Track project costs and report on budget variances at all levels (leadership to manager).
Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives. Ensure that clients' needs are met as the project evolves.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and cost estimates.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
Resource Management: Assist in managing project resources, including team members, vendors, and contractors. Ensure the project team is appropriately staffed and trained.
Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance metrics to monitor project performance and progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Coordinator and/or Cost Estimator on large scale projects in the oil and gas industry.
Strong understanding of ERP systems and their implementation.
Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and risk management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent reporting skills
Proficiency in project management software and tools, including JIRA.
Preferred Skills:
PMP or similar project management certification.
Experience with ERP systems used in the oil and gas industry.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
