Job Description:

Job Title: Project Coordinator Large Scale Projects / Cost Estimator for ERP Implementation

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator / Cost Estimator to support our ERP implementation projects within the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project coordination, cost estimation, executive level reporting and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and closing of ERP implementation projects. Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
  • Cost Estimation: Develop and maintain cost estimates for ERP implementation projects. Track project costs and report on budget variances at all levels (leadership to manager).
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives. Ensure that clients' needs are met as the project evolves.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and cost estimates.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Resource Management: Assist in managing project resources, including team members, vendors, and contractors. Ensure the project team is appropriately staffed and trained.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance metrics to monitor project performance and progress.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator and/or Cost Estimator on large scale projects in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and their implementation.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent reporting skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, including JIRA.

Preferred Skills:
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Experience with ERP systems used in the oil and gas industry.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
