EdgeCore is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Procurement Manager to be an integral part of our growing procurement team. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for but not limited to leading sourcing projects/RFx events, complex contract negotiations, vendor management, policy refinement and overseeing purchase requisitions. The Procurement Manager will also support and create new policies and be a project lead on EdgeCore's Source-to-Pay strategy and implementation. A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, understand stakeholder engagement and be familiar with Source-to-Pay systems and Seven Step Sourcing methodologies.
General Responsibilities
Prepare and manage sourcing activities and RFX events
Play an integral role in implementing EdgeCore's new Source-to-Pay software and lead ongoing management and optimization of procurement processes within the system
Work as liaison between business units and suppliers to ensure service quality, solve problems, and develop long term supplier relationships
Support the construction and operations teams with urgent purchases, change orders and contracts
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure all purchases are coded correctly, budgeted and tracked
Own the purchase order and supplier management processes
Manage Quarterly Business Review processes for strategic suppliers
Work with safety, compliance and other business units to develop supplier risk management program within the Source-to-Pay system
Assist in developing department multi-year sourcing plans
Manage, coach and mentor a team of at least 1-2 team members in the department
Your Experience and Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in a procurement and sourcing role, required
