Optics Division Leader Position Overview: As the head of the Optics Division, you are responsible for guiding business operations, managing technical resources, and leading a talented team. You oversee the profitability, strategy, and growth of the division.
Optics Division Leader Responsibilities:
Manage revenue and profit margins in line with annual business plans.
Develop and implement business line strategies, facility plans, and roadmaps based on market trends.
Lead cost management and pricing strategies in collaboration with finance teams.
Oversee production planning to ensure quality standards and on-time delivery for customers.
Drive advancements in precision optics and optical fabrication technologies.
Lead projects in critical markets such as Defense, Astronomy, Aerospace, and R&D.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (MBA preferred).
10+ years of leadership experience in Product Development, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing within the Optics industry.
Proven expertise in precision optics and optical fabrication techniques.
Experience in key end markets including Directed Energy, Astronomy, Aerospace, and R&D.
Strong track record of driving business growth and leading high-performing teams.
Optics Division Leader Requirements:
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with customers and teams.

Strong leadership, team-building, and motivational abilities.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in Product Development, Supply chain and Optics manufacturing.
Ability to work on-site in Rochester NY.with ability to travel 15-20% per year.
