Location: Fort Collins, Colorado (or Southern Wyoming with travel)
I'm working with a reputable heavy civil construction firm that's currently facing a significant backlog of projects due to the sheer volume of work coming in. They're urgently looking for a Senior Estimator to take the lead on bidding multi-million-dollar civil projects such as roads, bridges, utilities, and infrastructure. If you have a solid background in heavy civil construction and are ready to step into a high-demand role, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the estimation process for major civil projects (highways, earthworks, utilities, paving, etc.).
Collaborate with project teams to deliver precise bids and estimates on projects up to $20M.
Work with the Senior Project Manager to align estimates with project goals.
Analyze construction documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Manage subcontractor and vendor bids.
Participate in pre-construction meetings and client negotiations.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience estimating heavy civil construction projects, particularly in roadways, earthworks, utilities, and infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of DOT and DOD project specs.
Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar projects independently.
Familiarity with concrete, asphalt, and paving.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Willingness to travel between Fort Collins, CO, and Cheyenne, WY.
Civil engineering background is a plus but not required.
