About the role:
As an Investment Associate, you'll be at the forefront of driving growth in B2B product and services companies. This role is crucial in leveraging a proprietary growth platform. You'll play a critical and active role in day-to-day operations, positioning yourself for unique career growth opportunities in the venture capital business.
In this role you will:
As an Investment Associate, you'll use proprietary sourcing tools to contact and convert entrepreneurs and founders into partner Portfolio Companies.
Your communication skills will shine as you contact potential Portfolio Companies via email, phone, and Zoom to establish rapport and determine fit.
Your collaboration abilities will be crucial as you work internally with Investment Management and Marketing teams to build high-quality materials.
Your strategic thinking will be put to the test as you provide complete solutions to boost revenue growth and profitability of Portfolio Companies.
Your persuasive skills will be at the forefront as you present, promote, and sell the investment thesis to existing and prospective Portfolio Companies.
Your relationship-building expertise will be leveraged as you establish, develop, and maintain positive business and portfolio relationships.
What you bring to the table:
BA or equivalent with emphasis in finance/business administration, accounting, statistics, or economics.
Previous experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or related fields.
Great attention to detail and strong multitasking skills.
Ability to model, present data, and transform analysis into actionable recommendations.
Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in communicating with business leaders.
Must be a resident of the US or Canada.
Fluent in English.
