We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our Manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Duties
- Coordinate with suppliers to procure goods and services as per organizational requirements
- Utilize systems such as SAP, AS400, and other inventory management tools to track inventory levels
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure smooth supply chain operations
- Conduct sourcing activities to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Proficiency in utilizing procurement systems such as SAP, AS400, and other inventory management tools
- Strong negotiation skills and contract management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
