Job Description

Job Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned SAP Project Manager to lead the rollout of SAP ECC to additional plants for our client. The successful candidate will have extensive experience managing full life cycle SAP projects, including SAP ECC integrations with other applications and data migration efforts. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills along with SAP functional or technical background are key, as well as the ability to coordinate across onshore/offshore teams and client locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the full life cycle implementation and rollout of SAP ECC to additional plants, including planning, execution, and post-go-live support.
  • Manage the integration of SAP ECC with other critical enterprise applications (e.g., legacy systems) ensuring seamless data flow and process synchronization.
  • Oversee data migration activities, ensuring accurate and efficient migration of master and transactional data from legacy systems to SAP ECC.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure the SAP solution aligns with business requirements and overall IT strategy.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and project deliverables.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including internal onshore/offshore resources, client teams, and third-party vendors across multiple locations.
  • Drive effective communication with client stakeholders and project sponsors, providing regular status updates and addressing issues proactively.
  • Manage project scope, risks, and issues while ensuring alignment with the project budget and timeline.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to capture business requirements, define project goals, and ensure clarity of objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, industry best practices, and company standards.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and team members to foster collaboration and teamwork.
  • Coordinate change management, training, and end-user support to ensure a smooth transition to the new SAP environment.
  • Conduct post-go-live reviews and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 7 years focused on SAP implementations or rollouts.
  • Proven experience managing full life cycle SAP projects from initiation through go-live and support.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ECC modules and experience with SAP integration to other enterprise applications (e.g., CRM, MES, legacy systems).
  • Experience with SAP data migration, including data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams across onshore and offshore locations, with experience working in a global environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to navigate and influence senior-level client relationships.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively manage project risks and issues, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Skills:
  • Prior experience managing SAP ECC rollouts in the manufacturing, packaging or multi-plant environment is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP best practices for system integration and data migration methodologies.
  • Experience working in an Agile or hybrid project management environment.
  • Knowledge of change management practices and end-user training strategies.
  • Strong understanding of SAP infrastructure, including system architecture, databases, and cloud environments.

The US Base salary range for this position is $145,000 - $157,000. Please note that our salary ranges may vary within, above or below the range on role, education, experience level, market, and location.
