Job Description:

Salary Range: $105,000 - $130,000 per year (DOE)

The Executive Director oversees the policies set by the VP of Operations and is responsible for managing the annual goals, objectives, programs, and overall administration of our Residential Treatment Center. The Executive Director ensures the safety, quality, and operational success of the entire program.

Our Residential Treatment program serves highly acute adolescents and their families. Located in the scenic beauty of Southern Utah, near Zion National Park, our campus offers more than just treatment - it provides a warm, home-like environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Residential Treatment program, developing and implementing both short- and long-term plans, policies, and activities.

- Oversee financial management, including assisting with the development and execution of the annual budget.

- Develop, implement, and achieve the program's annual goals.

- Administer overall program operations, evaluate the results of program activities, fulfill contractual obligations, allocate resources, and develop organizational policies and objectives.

- Ensure program compliance with high standards of quality.

- Communicate and meet with clients and referral partners as necessary.

- Oversee employee relations and foster a safe and healthy environment for students, employees, and visitors.

- Stay informed of legal issues to ensure the company's longevity.

- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

- Lead weekly administrative and governing body meetings as required.

- Attend meetings and fulfill other responsibilities as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of management experience in residential or secure treatment settings.

- Master's degree in a human services-related field preferred, Bachelors in related field.

- Proficiency in basic algebra and geometry for creating diagrams, charts, and reports.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Familiarity with legal, medical, or scientific terminology.

- Knowledge of company policies and practices (as outlined in the training manual).

- Strong team building and resource management skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to prioritize, organize, and collaborate with other professionals effectively.

- Knowledge of laws related to documentation, reporting, and confidentiality.

- Proficiency in basic computer software and hardware.

- Strong decision-making abilities, particularly regarding student welfare, based on input from multiple sources.

- Ability to interpret business reports, financial data, legal documents, and governmental regulations, and to write reports and procedure manuals.

- Ability to respond effectively to inquiries from students, parents, staff, and community members.

- Skilled in defining problems, collecting data, and drawing valid conclusions.

- Independent judgment in developing, implementing, and evaluating policies and plans.

- Ability to plan, direct, and coordinate activities while collaborating with healthcare providers, vendors, government agencies, and community groups.
