Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vessel Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and maintenance of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and other mechanical equipment used in our projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and analyze pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and other mechanical equipment.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ASME, API).
Perform stress analysis and finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure structural integrity.
Develop and review technical specifications, datasheets, and drawings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
Conduct failure analysis and recommend corrective actions.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in vessel design and analysis.
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and ANSYS.
Strong knowledge of ASME codes and standards.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
