We are looking for an individual to join our team of Customer Service Representatives. The overall function of the Customer Service Representative is to provide technical and customer service support within the underwriting department using the policy administration and agency management systems. Job Requirements:
Process MVR request against set guidelines
Processes certificate requests
Performs data input into the policy administration system to facilitate quotes, issue policies, endorsements, audits, and cancellations.
Invoices customers for policies and changes to those policies as needed.
Prepares premium finance agreements.
Ensures and performs quality control on policies and policy information.
Completes and performs training as necessary.
Work with Agents and Insured customers as needed.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma
Keyboarding skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office software
Ability to learn rating and processing practices and procedures for a variety of property and casualty insurance products.
Ability to perform tasks under time pressures and deadlines.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to perform basic math operations, including adding subtracting, multiplying and dividing
Ability to accurately follow directions and procedures, both oral and written
Ability to communicate orally and in written form
Ability to respond to requests from internal and external sources in a timely and accurate manner.
Ability to function as a team player with other employees of the company.
