Our client, a Boston based private equity firm is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to join their finance team.
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Handle all finance and accounting related matters to private equity funds • Report all daily accounting activity in system • Help with preparation of financial statements • Work with capital allocations • Build out reports for investor meetings • Work with investor relations to provide portfolio financial information • Monitor all cash activity including reconciliations • Work with different departments of firm including compliance for legal documentation • Prepare and report on all investor calls
EXPERIENCE • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance • 2-5 years experience in public accounting or alternative investment firm • Experience with private equity preferred • CPA preferred • Strong GAAP knowledge • Excellent Excel skills • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with upper management and interface with all departments
