OBJECTIVES
Provide critical financial and operational insights through advanced reporting, data management, and technological integration.
Lead the full-cycle budgeting process and deliver comprehensive financial reports for executive and ownership teams.
Oversee and manage departmental budgets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and financial targets.
Develop automated processes to streamline operations and drive efficiency across strategic departments.
Identify key business drivers and metrics to ensure optimal performance tracking.
Collaborate with technology teams to build the financial infrastructure required for scalable reporting and analytics.
Work to design and operationalize data-driven dashboards for decision-making.
Provide financial forecasts and align strategic metrics across departments for both short- and long-term planning.
Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
Support the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages, client financial reports, and activity summaries.
COMPETENCIES
Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, including complex formulas and functions.
Strong experience with large accounting software like NetSuite, SAP etc.
Proven ability to analyze financial data, identify key insights, and solve complex problems.
Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
Intermediate knowledge of GAAP principles.
Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) for data visualization.
Deep understanding of financial models, budgeting processes, and reporting systems.
Expertise in presenting data-driven insights to senior leadership using visualization tools.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7 plus years in Finance or Accounting, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
Experience in fast-growing industries such as e-commerce or pharma or wellness.
