Supported by top-tier U.S. climate tech investors and fresh off a successful Series B funding round, we are seeking an FP&A Director to support an impressive CFO in building a dynamic FP&A function.
The Role
This position will be an integral piece to a function and business with extreme growth potential. Functioning as the CFO's right hand, this individual will support in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, long-term financial modeling, and scenario analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in a manufacturing environment.
This position will gain direct exposure to the Executive Leadership Team through consistent collaboration and will be a key player in high-impact areas like capital raising, corporate development activities, and Board-level discussion.
This is a hands-on role that offers a unique opportunity to be a foundational member of a highly accomplished and collaborative finance team.
Responsibilities
Refine and manage the corporate financial model to drive strategic decision-making
Offer credible insight to commercial and engineering teams, senior leadership, and the Board of Directors
Support the CFO in establishing systems and lead on the annual budget process
Assist the CFO and Controller in the implementation of ERP and forecasting software solutions
Develop insightful forecasts for various scenarios to present to senior leadership
Identify capital strategy including equity and non-dilutive sources
Collaborate with the CFO and Head of Operations to implement inventory and cost control processes + margin improvement strategies
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
What You Need:
6+ years of finance experience
Experience working in a hardware manufacturing business
Strong skills in financial modeling and analysis
Entrepreneurial mindset that enjoys building new systems and solving problems
Willingness & ability to be in the office on a hybrid basis
Excellent communication skills across all levels of staff and with external stakeholders
Strong excel skills
