The Project Manager's main role is to oversee IT projects that affect various departments throughout their lifecycle. This includes managing the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategies and objectives.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
-Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and communications that require extensive cross-functional coordination.
-Set clear expectations with team members and stakeholders, and actively manage these expectations throughout the project's duration.
-Lead strategy and planning sessions as needed, collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope for approved initiatives.
-Provide status reports to the steering committee, covering budget, timeline, issues, risks, and scope status.
-Identify and resolve project-related issues and manage dependencies to maintain critical path timelines.
-Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
-Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, adhering to the agreed scope.
-Create and maintain all project documentation, including the charter, project scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables.
-Identify opportunities for improvement, take an enterprise-wide perspective, and drive value.
-Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to motivate and inspire others.
-Act as a change agent by understanding business needs and implementing effective change.
-Negotiate internally and externally to build consensus and maximize value and savings.
-Align and organize resources to ensure successful project completion.

-Document and manage project information in corporate PM tools (Microsoft).
-Mentor fellow project management associates and promote a culture of learning and growth.
-Conduct post-project reviews and create recommendation reports that highlight successes and challenges encountered throughout the project lifecycle.
