Position Summary:
The Director of Product Management is a management position that reports to the Vice President of Product Strategy and will be responsible for assisting with all activities related to the design and implementation of client solutions and our proprietary software applications. This individual will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills as well as expert level knowledge of the financial and reimbursement components of healthcare claims compliance and adjudication relating to the design, development, and implementation of mission-critical information and software systems.
Key Responsibilities: • Work with the VP of Product Strategy to develop comprehensive product direction for all Context4 Healthcare-originated products, which would include determining the need for new, enhanced, or emergent technologies that support the Company's overall mission. This individual will understand the current and evolving business goals and translate them into a maintainable product roadmap. • Partner with Medical Content, IT, and Product Development leadership teams in the design, implementation, and maintenance of next generation SaaS and Client/Server based solutions as well as the integration of these systems with our technology partners' systems. • Review and analyze existing applications' effectiveness and efficiency. Develop and recommend strategies for improving, sun-setting or leveraging the systems consistent with our product strategy and market research. Where necessary, recommend prioritization of products, features and resources to technical leadership team. • Develop and coordinate feasibility studies for software and system products under consideration for purchase, and provide recommendations based on findings. • Work in conjunction with the VP of Product Strategy along with the Medical Content team and Technical Leadership team to achieve the Company information technology goals and objectives
Qualifications and Skills: • 5 plus years as a Senior Manager/Director within a Software Development environment. • 3 plus years in a leadership role within the healthcare payer compliance and/or payment integrity field. • Bachelor's degree is required; Masters is preferred. • Demonstrated technical leadership, able to play a key role in the design, implementation and support of business processes and systems. • Must have significant experience with Health Payer Claims Management Systems along with payment integrity systems and healthcare claims repricing systems. • Strong empowerment leadership skills, allowing front line team members to make decisions as needed with the guidance of senior management. • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating and working with others across the organization in support of achieving business and technology goals. • Superior verbal and written communication skills. • Solid business acumen required in terms of executive relationship building and budget management. • Experience within .Net, Java and Oracle development environments preferred. • Ability to manage relationships with partner companies is preferred.
