Regional Operations Director - Clinical Trial Service Provider
A leading clinical trial service provider is seeking an experienced Regional Operations Director to join their team at a key facility in Malvern, PA.
This is a pivotal, full-time, on-site role requiring 5 days per week presence at the location to address crucial process improvements.
The successful candidate will oversee the facility's Depot Manager and provide strategic direction for a team of approximately 17 staff members. They will be responsible for ensuring that all operational processes adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GDP (Good Distribution Practice) standards, while driving efficiency and compliance across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with GMP and GDP regulations
Manage and mentor the Depot Manager and their team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Streamline operational processes, identifying and resolving any gaps or inefficiencies
Collaborate with senior management to align operational strategies with overall business objectives
Ensure the smooth and compliant delivery of clinical trial services
Ideal Candidate:
Extensive experience in operations management, particularly within clinical trials or temperture controlled distribution or a similar field
Strong understanding of GMP and GDP requirements
Proven track record of leadership/mentorship, with the ability to manage and motivate teams
Strong problem-solving and process optimization skills
Comfortable working on-site 5 days per week to manage critical operational processes
