A Procurement Specialist job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH 45242. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have 3+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement.
Procurement Specialist responsibilities include collaborating with internal customers to understand their budget and requirements in order to provide advice and support to meet their needs. This position will follow the company and departmental policies, procedures, and work instructions to source and procure, negotiate, manage supplier relationships, and manage contract compliance. 10% or less travel. Potential for hybrid schedule.
JOB DUTIES:
* Lead simple to moderately complex RFI/RFQs and negotiation strategies that bring market favorable pricing and overall cost control.
* Execute the supplier selection and approval process. Develop and maintain key supplier relationships.
* Utilize a supplier evaluation process to manage supplier.
* Execute the purchase order and agreement with the selected supplier. Ensure all approvals are in place before execution of the contract with the supplier.
* Manage the commercial aspects of the contract. Ensure on-time delivery from supplier.
* Assist Accounts Payable in invoice issue resolution.
* Complete receipt in ERP for approved invoices.
* Maintain all required procurement records and documentations system.
* Maintain a positive attitude toward the stakeholders, suppliers, management, and peers.
* Support Belcan's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives and expectations for supply chain
* Understand business impacts and align with stakeholders to effectively assess risk levels, manage supply continuity, develop contingency plans, and establish risk management strategies to mitigate risk.
* Recommend continuous improvements to procurement and related processes.
* Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration or equivalent experience
* Three years or more of relevant experience in sourcing or procurement
* Experience with JD Edwards World, ServiceNow or other ERP purchasing system
* Familiar with Microsoft applications such as Windows operating system, Office applications, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $60,000-$70,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
