Job Summary: Hudspeth is currently seeking an Abatement Supervisor. This position reports to the Division Managers and must have a positive and enthusiastic outlook with a strong ability to multitask. As the Supervisor in Hudspeth's Construction and Environmental Services Division, you'll oversee and coordinate a wide range of projects across Colorado, integrating construction expertise with environmental stewardship. Your role will encompass hands-on leadership, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of projects while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and client requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage construction crews, overseeing operations across construction, environmental, and demolition projects in Colorado.
Provide hands-on leadership, actively participating in project activities while guiding and mentoring your team.
Develop work schedules, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely project completion.
Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to align objectives and deliverables with project specifications and timelines.
Enforce safety compliance and accountability among team members, cultivating a culture of responsibility and well-being.
Maintain meticulous records of project activities, costs, and achievements, and prepare comprehensive reports as needed.
Proactively identify and resolve project challenges, proposing innovative solutions and escalating issues when necessary.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or requirements.
Conduct effective jobsite meetings, communicating project plans, goals, and expectations clearly to your team.
Key Requirements, Education, and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction and environmental services, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
Comprehensive knowledge of environmental regulations, safety practices, and construction methods.
Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
Strong organizational abilities, with meticulous attention to detail and excellent planning skills.
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective team coordination and client interaction.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.
