We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer (P. Eng) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, analysis, and project management, and will be responsible for developing innovative solutions for complex engineering problems.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, analyze, and test mechanical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Lead projects from conception through execution, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project timelines and budgets.
Perform calculations, simulations, and finite element analysis (FEA) to validate designs and optimize performance.
Prepare technical reports, specifications, and project documentation, maintaining thorough records of designs and processes.
Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to understand project requirements and provide expert guidance.
Conduct reviews and audits of designs and processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and interns, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (P. Eng) designation in the relevant jurisdiction.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in [specific industry, e.g., aerospace, automotive, HVAC].
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), FEA tools, and other engineering analysis software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly.
