What You Need:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering related discipline required.
5+ Years' work experience in LEAN manufacturing environments.
Advanced experience in SolidWorks (Tool and Fixture Design)
Experience working in multiple areas (Machining, CNC, Lasers, Welding, Assembly)
5S implementation, Kaizen events, Process Mapping Experience
Strong Ability to Multitask

What Your Role Will Look Like:
The Manufacturing Engineer will work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Checkout and Service Departments as well as Suppliers to develop cost effective solutions to design and manufacturing problems so that solutions can be safely and effectively executed while minimizing waste in all forms.
Is capable of organizing and leading Kaizen event teams.
Can design effective internal Kan Ban systems to ensure material availability on a single piece flow basis.
Supports manufacturing efforts by designing, testing, and implementing manufacturing fixtures, processes, and systems to support continuous improvement efforts.
Will benchmark existing process using value stream mapping techniques to identify opportunities.
Is responsible to implement 5S in all manufacturing cells.
Identifies opportunities for design or process improvements and participates in the planning and execution of such opportunities.
Is creative and proactive in reducing the cost of materials, components, and labor to assemble furnace systems.
Is responsible to document all manufacturing processes and procedures in the form of written SOP's
Is responsible to maintain all production metric boards and production wheels for efficient communication.
Assists the production team with questions or helps with troubleshooting fabrication issues.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Assist with equipment analysis in terms of risk of potential hazards.
Contributes as may be requested in all aspects of the business to ensure strategic and tactical business goals and objectives are met.
