Böttcher America Corporation, a world's leader in pressroom solutions and the world's largest roller manufacture, is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to help with the implementation of manufacturing equipment and processes that result in top quality products.
You need to have knowledge of machining technology and related processes. Other desired manufacturing engineering skills to include:
Project management, Quality Assurance, Safety and Environmental compliance.
You will be required to travel between our four locations but will be based out of our Belcamp, Maryland facility.
Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate processes ensuring quality standards and improved efficiency are achieved
Evaluate production and equipment requirements
Design and install equipment
Optimize factory layouts, production lines
Find ways to reduce costs and improve quality
Ensure that manufacturing processes follow safety and environmental regulations
Background and Skill Set
Experience as a manufacturing engineer or similar position
Knowledge of manufacturing process such as: metal preparation, machining various materials, extrusion and vulcanization a plus
Familiarity with maintenance of manufacturing equipment
Commitment to health and safety and environmental regulations
Engineering Degree
The ideal candidate possesses both a high level of technical expertise and an innate passion to build. You will play a critical role in creating and refining processes in order to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and productivity.
