Key Skills and Responsibilities: • Switching Power Supply Design greater than 10KW • Magnetic Design Capability • Perform analysis and design of analog and digital circuits. • Motor Control Design • Designing DSP controller-based control circuits. • Spice Circuit Analysis • EMI Power Filter Design • PCBA Layout • Maintain Project Schedules • Present clearly and convincingly in Design Reviews • Be able to lead others on your project • Document the design for manufacturing and testing
Experience, Education, and Physical Requirements: • BSEE or equivalent technical degree with 10+ years of related design experience • Masters or PHD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is a plus • Familiar with MIL-STD-704, 461, 464, and or DO-160 • Support of Software Verification Testing • Understand and work with DO-178 software verification processes • Proficient with Altium Designer in both schematic capture and PCB Layout • Equivalent design software skills will be considered for cross training • Excellent Communication and written skills required • Experience in embedded coding in C is a plus • Experience with Solid Works modeling is a plus • Ability to drive to test facilities or customers sites • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Resident satisfying ITAR and EAR requirements • Ability to commute or work on site in Santa Clarita, CA 91355
Benefits • Pay $140K to $180K per year salary • F O Engineering works on a 9/80 schedule where we work 9 hours a day but get every other Friday off. That ends up with at least 26 3-day weekends a year. • F O Engineering provides 1-week paid holiday between Christmas and New Years. • 2 weeks of paid vacation accrued annually. • Health and Dental Insurance. • 401K with matching.
