Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP and JavaScript Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, as well as proficiency in React for creating modern, responsive front-end experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Create responsive and interactive front-end experiences using React.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality web applications.
Optimize website performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing projects.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in PHP and JavaScript development.
Extensive experience with WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development.
Proficiency in React and modern front-end development practices.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., Node.js, Angular, Vue.js).
Knowledge of modern build tools and workflows (e.g., esbuild, Webpack, Babel, npm).
Experience with automated testing and continuous integration.
Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal portfolio.
