Job Description:

Summary/Objective:

This team member will work directly with their team and Manager, completing tasks and assignments related to products or applications of Atlassian product suite including JIRA, Confluence, Analytics, Assets, Product Data Manager etc., as well as would be involved in some of the common IT Service Management activities, which may be related to the process, procedures, and systems. Working with the greater Information Technology teams and organizational Business Areas, to ensure service delivery by implementing, leveraging the best practices in existing and current processes and configurations throughout the organization.

Essential Functions:
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Assist in managing all Jira UI Admin tasks like project creation, team/board creation, custom fields, custom field values, reports, workflows, issue types, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes.
  • Assist in handling the activities involved with scrum master's and program managers to assist with process standardization.
  • Expected to work closely with scrum teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
  • Assist in optimizing and improving JIRA/Confluence setup and workflows,and identify where functionality needs to improve to meet user requests.
  • Define and lead the rollout of comprehensive workflows (with conditions, validators, and triggered post functions), screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes.
  • Assist in refining current Jira processes to be more streamlined and uniform for agile teams.
  • Drive results by troubleshooting issues, connect with scrum masters, and continue to improve support processes.
  • Develop mechanisms to automate manual processes.
  • Provide JIRA domain expertise in discussions regarding governance within JIRA.
  • Help in designing Jira based reports, dashboards and planning views based on different user requirements.
  • Review the standard operating procedures for repetitive tasks and activities and help manage the technical and/or user-facing documentation for training. Ensure to continuously improve our ability to deliver value.
  • Responsible for creating, managing, and supporting all administrative functions associated with the Atlassian product suite including Jira Software on the Cloud, Confluence and Bitbucket
  • Exposure and some experience in REST API, JQL, AQL, Forge development, JIRA APIs and webhooks is an added advantage.
  • Assist in reviewing and contributing to establish processes and guidelines for delivery tools for agile.
  • Drive consistent use of tools in alignment with guidelines across the organization.
  • Champion modern methodologies such as Agile, DevOps and related practices
  • Other Duties: Assist in duties as assigned by their lead for establishing and improving key ITIL processes as adopted by the IT Leadership team
  • Analyze data and documentation to participate in developing and reporting business-relevant metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of governance processes.
  • Provide procedures, guidance, and assistance, to Information Technology teams in the maintenance, tracking, monitoring, allocation, initial configuration, and deployment of new solutions, devices, software, systems, and enhancements, in accordance with the IT policies, security program, and industry standards and best practices.
  • Continue to maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT awareness of new or revised best practices, improved processes, and the development of new concepts, systems, and solutions
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Management.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field
  • 2-4 years of Atlassian suite of products and applications development and administrative experience including JIRA, Confluence, Analytics, Assets, Product Data Manager tool, Automation, Script Runner etc.,
  • Overall 2-4 years of experience in IT Field.
  • Exposure and some experience in REST API, JQL, AQL, Forge development, JIRA APIs and webhooks preferred.
  • Understanding and hands-on experience in Cloud computing environments, Databases, Servers etc.,
  • Troubleshooting, Problem Solving, documentation, verbal, written communication skills.
