Job Description
The Electrical Construction Project Manager is responsible for fiscal performance and overall management of assigned projects. This role involves managing budgets, purchasing, and coordinating necessary authorizations and drawings for project construction. This position requires a proactive, driven individual who strives to engage the team and contributes to success.
What You Will Do:
Represent the company in communications with employees, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
Aid in business development by creating proposals and leveraging relationships to win new work.
Manage complex, cost-loaded schedules using Oracle Primavera P6.
Prepare cost budgets, detailed take-offs, and competitive estimates for electrical construction projects.
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotes and review contracts for accuracy.
Plan and strategize awarded work over months and years, creating project budgets and processing monthly billings.
Conduct project kick-off meetings and weekly staff meetings to ensure project success and safety compliance.
Handle subcontract agreements, purchase order processes, and vendor invoices.
Maintain and distribute project documentation, manage and update drawings, and enforce safety policies.
Conduct root cause analysis, manage RFIs, and implement contract change orders.
Ensure timely and accurate project closeout documentation and conduct final job walks and closeout meetings.

What You Will Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Construction or a related field, or equivalent experience.
9 - 11 years of relevant experience in construction project management.
Experienced, specifically in Electrical Project Management.
Expertise in estimating software and strong leadership, construction management, and planning skills.
Proficiency in MS Office products and excellent time-management, planning, and administrative abilities.
High level of diplomacy, sound judgment, and discretion in customer and staff interactions.
Self-motivation, flexibility, and the ability to work independently with strong decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and professional attitude.
Creative problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

What You Will Experience:
Work is generally performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: sit for long periods of time; use computer to enter data; use telephone to converse with customers and employees.
Travel as needed to local job sites.
The employee is regularly required to: perform repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement, feel the attributes of objects, grasp, push, and reach with arms or hands.
Must be able to occasionally move objects of 15 lbs.
Work may also be performed in the field environment. While performing duties in the field, the employee may be subject to adverse conditions such as cold or hot weather conditions, hazards of a construction site, etc.
