Overview: Klinger Thermoseal, a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-end sealing solutions, is seeking a motivated Customer Service Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success. The Customer Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the inside sales department. This role will assist the Director of Sales with the successful execution of departmental plans and goals and coordinate all activities for the inside sales team. The Customer Service Manager will report to the Director of Sales.
Key Responsibilities: • The Customer Service Manager will monitor sales metrics and supervise the inside sales administration process • Oversee all programs and activities of the Inside Sales Team • Work directly with outside sales account managers and inside sales representatives to assist in establishing new and maintaining existing customer relationships and generating new business • Provide monthly sales reports • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts using provided information • Prepare quotations • Effectively utilize requisition worksheet to place purchase orders • Monitor inventory and request any necessary material expedites
Qualifications: • Associate degree, Bachelor's degree preferred • 3+ years of inside sales management or customer service experience • In-depth understanding of the sales administration process • Ability to train and coach others • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills • Strong analytical and organizational skills • Exceptional time management and the ability to prioritize tasks • Experience with CRM software • Proficient in MS Office products with intermediate/advanced level Excel skills • Advanced mathematical aptitude • Excellent numeracy skills for accurate calculation of sales prices, discounts, and percentages • Exemplary customer service skills • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills • Confidence in handling inbound and outbound calls • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
