Business Development and Capture Manager

The Brite Group Inc. is a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) with SBA (8A) certification and HUBZone classification, serving federal, state, and local agencies in the Washington DC metro area. We are a team of dedicated business and technical professionals providing comprehensive IT solutions and services to clients in the government and commercial sectors. We assist our clients with technology evaluations, design, develop, implement, and deliver customer-centric software services and innovative solutions to drive efficiency and competitiveness.

We are looking to hire immediately a go-getter and energetic Business Development and Capture Manager professional with federal government sales, business development and capture experience to help us expand our clientele both organic and new growth. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong client relationships for long-term success.

Responsibilities:
  • Builds market position by locating, developing, negotiating teaming and closing business relationships.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Arrange and facilitate business meetings with prospective clients and federal decision makers.
  • Discovers and explores business opportunities and build/maintain robust pipelines.
  • Work closely with the Brite Leadership on targeted opportunities and capture
  • Examines risks and potential for business opportunities.
  • Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Attend Federal professional networking meetings and events

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Master or BA in business administration or a related field.
  • 6+ years of Federal business development and capture experience.
  • Market knowledge.
  • Communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with C-suite leaders.
  • Time management and planning skills.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
