Our client is actively seeking a Project Manager with expertise in developing and executing cutover plans for go-live deployments.
This is a contract opportunity that is hybrid to downtown Chicago.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop comprehensive deployment and cutover plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and contingency planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, trading, operations, and external vendors, to ensure seamless execution of deployment and cutover activities.
Manage the end-to-end deployment and cutover process, ensuring minimal disruption to trading operations and adherence to project timelines.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, issues, and resolutions.
Ensure all deployment and cutover activities are thoroughly documented, including lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on deployment and cutover activities in a trading or financial services environment.
