My client is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with specialized experience in medical imaging equipment to join their team. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to developing, installing, and maintaining medical imaging systems (such as MRI, CT, X-ray, or ultrasound). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, R&D, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end projects focused on medical imaging equipment.
Work closely with engineering and product teams to develop project plans and timelines.
Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and standards (FDA, ISO 13485, etc.).
Oversee the installation and commissioning of medical imaging systems.
Communicate project status, risks, and deliverables to stakeholders, both internal and external.
Manage budgets, resources, and third-party vendors as required.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project efficiency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in medical imaging equipment or a related field (e.g., radiology, biomedical engineering).
Strong understanding of the technical aspects of medical imaging systems (MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, etc.).
Familiarity with regulatory standards in the medical device industry (FDA, CE, ISO 13485).
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
