About Us

My husband, who is a forward-thinking genius, is building Project Superola, an innovative platform that simplifies event planning and vendor promotion. The web application bridges the gap between users and service providers, offering a seamless, multilingual experience across the USA and Mexico with aspirations to be used all over the world. As a growing project with global aspirations, we're committed to providing a user-friendly, visually appealing, and accessible platform. Although this is a boot-strapped project, he is looking to hire someone willing to work initially on this project only with the opportunity to work on other projects consistently available at his workplace.

Role Overview

He is looking for a creative and skilled UI/UX Designer to refine and elevate the design of our web application. As a UI/UX Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in reviewing our existing design, suggesting improvements, and crafting interfaces that resonate with our target audiences. This is a short-term, fixed-payment contract that offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the visual identity and usability of a cutting-edge platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the product and development teams to define and implement UI/UX enhancements.
  • Audit the existing design and provide actionable feedback for improving user experience and visual appeal.
  • Design wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and final UI designs for our web application.
  • Ensure all designs are mobile-responsive, optimized for accessibility, and aligned with our brand identity.
  • Work within the project's established timeline and budget to deliver a high-quality, polished final product.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a robust portfolio of web application designs.
  • Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and web design best practices.
  • Experience in responsive design for cross-device compatibility (desktop, tablet, mobile).
  • Ability to synthesize feedback, iterate on designs quickly, and deliver high-quality results within a fixed scope.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to remote collaboration.

What We Offer
  • Flexible Remote Work: Collaborate with a small diverse team from anywhere in the world.
  • Fixed Negotiable Payment: You set the desired competitive compensation for a clearly defined project scope.
  • Clear Scope and Timeline: Opportunity to shape a project with clear objectives and minimal ambiguity.
  • Impactful Work: Influence the visual identity of a platform that aims to revolutionize the event planning space.
  • Future Opportunities: If interested, we have over 45 projects in queue, and growing, that you may be able to take on.

If you're a creative and efficient UI/UX Designer excited about the opportunity to make an impact on a growing web platform, he would love to hear from you! Please send your resume, portfolio (Behance, Dribbble, or personal website links), and a brief cover letter explaining your interest in the role to e@superola.com
