Job Description
The Formulation Specialist is responsible for the manufacturing of products in compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow all procedures for handling reagents used in production.
Collaborate with a team to efficiently meet scheduled production outputs.
Record and maintain data in an organized manner, compliant with ISO13485 regulations.
Maintain proper inventory levels in the ERP system and inform appropriate channels of items needing reordering.
Safely handle and remove hazardous waste from the lab for proper disposal.
Keep the production area clean and organized.
Use micropipettes and other lab equipment to create reagent mixes.
Operate liquid handling equipment to manufacture products.
Identify potential issues that could affect product quality and notify supervisors.
Interact with Quality personnel to ensure all SOPs and Work Instructions are being followed.
Assist and train other production staff as necessary.
Prioritize multiple tasks to meet daily schedules.
Required Education and Experience:High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
