Our client, a growing high-net-worth family office, is looking for a Travel Ops Manager to provide comprehensive management and guidance to their executive Travel Team. The Travel Team handles all of the travel arrangements and related communication for the Principal, the Principal's family and friends, and the family office staff. You would be joining a unique industry and a close-knit, supportive team.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a current Family Office or Corporate Travel Manager with extensive travel management experience who may enjoy this specific area of focus, and would like to specialize within it. The ideal candidate will have a familiarity with high-net-worth individuals and/or years of experience supporting a busy executive with consistent travel and scheduling needs.
You will be working within a strong team and will need to be able to seamlessly provide guidance and direction, anticipating needs and natural snags that can come with traveling. This is a full time, on-site position based in New York City, on a team that works cooperatively in order to allow for work life balance, while assuring that the needs of travelers are met!
About the role and your impact:
Manage Travel Coordination
Manage private and commercial, domestic and international travel accommodations
Make all arrangements and reservations, calmly managing last-minute updates and changes (and communicating them in a timely manner)
Prepare travel itineraries and distribute travel arrangements and schedules to all appropriate parties
Advises travelers of and assists with any need for specialized travel documents such as visas or passports
Monitors and facilitates the use of company air travel credit cards, frequent flyer programs, and other applicable rewards and loyalty programs
