Gamewell Mechanical is looking for an experienced General Manager of our Wilson Operation to join our team! The General Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the Wilson Office while working under minimal oversight. This will include Sales, Pre-Construction, Operations, Construction, Safety, Staffing, and Financial Performance for HVAC, Mechanical Piping, Hygienic Piping, and Plumbing Services that Gamewell provides. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining existing relationships in Eastern North Carolina and Southern Virginia. The ideal candidate will be well connected in the local industry and have a Mechanical Construction background.

What You'll Do:
• Client Relationship Management

o Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at target companies.

o Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations with clients to understand their project requirements and objectives.
• Pre-Construction

o Maintain and provide pre-qualification packages to clients as needed.

o Overall responsibility for the Estimates and Proposals Generated in with Wilson Office

o Collaborate with Estimating to oversee workload and strategy.

o Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for accurate scopes of work and materials.

o Facilitate bid presentation and review meetings with clients.

o Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and market insights.
• Operations

o Responsible for Operation of a $15,000,000 to $30,000,000.

o Most Projects range from $500,000 to $3,000,000 in size.

o Mechanical/Plumbing/Process contracting operations.

o Manage and oversee the Project Management Team that currently includes 5 Project Managers.

o Manage and oversee construction manpower and staff projects with proper resources for Wilson Operations to be productive.

o Responsible for all office and field staffing to support Wilson Operations.

What You'll Bring:
• Must be willing to be located in the Wilson area full time.
• 20+ years experience in the Mechanical Subcontracting and/or the Construction Industry.
• Mechanical subcontracting project management experience is a plus.
• Field experience/hands on experience with process systems, HVAC systems and piping systems is a plus.
• Estimating/pre-construction mechanical experience is a plus.
• Construction safety experience is a plus.
• Experience managing staff/construction personnel is required.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Driving Requirements

o Must have a valid North Carolina driver's license.

o Must be at least 21 years of age unless company approval is granted.

o Must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving conviction in the last five years.

o All driving records are run as part of our pre-employment process and reviewed at the discretion of the Safety Team.
• Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
