Job Summary:

The Process Engineer (ME)'s responsibilities will be reviewing production schedules, engineering

specifications, and processing flows and other information to understand the methods and activities of manufacturing and services. Determine best manufacturing processes to manufacture parts or products, or deliver services, with maximum efficiency. Aid in development of management control systems to make financial planning and cost analysis more efficient. Enact quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs. Work with customers and management to develop standards for design and production. Work closely with customers and Production Management to confer with customers about production specifications, as well as help lead communication with executive management personnel about manufacturing capabilities and to the staff about the status of new and current projects.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Identify unsafe operations and practices and report the same to Manager immediately.
• Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum

production.
• Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages.
• Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), CRD and BOM for production activities.
• Stay current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes.
• Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality, and reliability.
• Maintain all ME related stations and tools list regularly.
• Place new tools and jigs on production lines on time
• Repair the bad tools or jigs from production lines and return ASAP.
• Report tools and jigs failure analysis and solution.
• Make up purchase plan about tools and jigs spare parts.
• Assess machinery compliance with UL safety standards and upgrade machineries as required.
• Comply with company and customer safety guidelines, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Be able to work all shifts flexibly when tasks require.
• Support facility engineers for daily tasks and production and maintenance activities.
• Travel to support other worksites regularly when business activities require.
• Skilled apply BOM & CRD. Follow QCI RD release information to do correlative L10/L11 and packing SOP.
• Training production employee follow SOP to do. Discover issue have seasonable make correction

capability.
• WO release check.
• Complete alone new model earlier all job.
• Set up PL all tool and fix tool issue.
• Control tube production and rework flow path.
• Ability to communicate with other region and headquarters
• Provide training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Bi-lingual: Chinese(Mandarin) and English preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to effectively present information,

respond to questions from groups or managers.
• Ability to provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure

maximum production.
• Ability to attain and maintain state of the art knowledge of all Pegatron technology product and

industry trends.
• Ability to investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions.
• Ability to develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
• Able to use hand and power tools, liftable to up to 30 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel (as a tool for data

analysis), Word and Outlook.

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing (or similar engineering

discipline/relevant education concentration) - highly preferred.
• Working Knowledge in Manufacturing Processes Validations, Equipment Inspection, root cause

analysis and statistical process control principles, designing fixtures/Jigs using professional design

software - highly desirable.
• Working Knowledge in DOE Design of Experiments and NPI New Product Introductions - highly

desirable.
• Familiar with OSHA and ESD requirements - highly desirable.
