About the Role:

Join our dynamic team as a Night Shift System Test Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in our mission to enhance urban mobility. In this hands-on position, you will manage test hardware and software configurations, run diagnostics, and troubleshoot integration challenges while supporting our round-the-clock testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with test teams to set up and troubleshoot issues on integrated test assets, including Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) systems.
  • Develop and update operational and training documentation to ensure smooth testing processes.
  • Maintain detailed logs of configuration changes and test activities.
  • Identify and log deficiencies, participating in resolution processes.
  • Configure hardware and software per test team requests and maintain HIL test stations.
  • Load software and firmware updates on aircraft systems and avionics.
  • Set up and configure Linux and Windows environments, including BIOS adjustments and software installations.
  • Diagnose and resolve both hardware and software issues on HIL systems.
  • Organize and manage the HIL lab, including inventory control and routine maintenance.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Software, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in systems testing or engineering.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or C scripting.
  • Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Familiarity with serial protocols (RS485, RS422) and networking concepts.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in laboratory settings.
  • Knowledge of National Instruments (NI) hardware and software (Veristand, LabVIEW, PXI).
  • Solid foundation in analog and power electronics design.
  • Ability to read and interpret PCB schematics and technical documentation.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and bus analyzers.
