About Us Our Firm is a remote friendly, tax planning and preparation firm for individuals, and small to mid-sized businesses.
We offer a range of services, including personal and business tax preparation, tax planning, IRS resolution, and accounting services. Our offices are in Dayton and Eaton, Ohio. The team is composed of experienced CPAs and enrolled agents who provide personalized tax solutions and support.
Because of our growth, we are looking for a Hybrid Tax Manager/Supervisor who will be responsible for managing and overseeing the tax services provided to our clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic tax planning.
Responsibilities
Assume primary responsibility for client engagements, including planning, staffing, timing, technical issues and other decisions. Oversee completion of engagements, including identifying and solving problem areas during the engagement, with minimal oversight or assistance
Supervise and mentor Senior Accountants and Staff, including guiding and educating them in technical areas, identifying professional development opportunities and maintaining a respectful team atmosphere.
Find opportunities to turn acquired technical knowledge into high value-added opportunities for Firm clients.
Develop, strengthen and grow client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness and service-oriented approach.
Enhance skills in the industries the Firm focuses on by seeking out and completing training courses.
Increase office profitability by managing your time and the time of Staff and Senior Accountants efficiently, contributing ideas and adding value.
Other duties and projects as assigned.

Strong computer skills, including solid skill in the Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel) and report writing tools.
Maintain a professional demeanor with coworkers and clients.
Ability to meet internal Firm deadlines (time entry, billing, etc.)
Ability to work some overtime from January to April
Qualifications
Active CPA
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Taxation or Finance
3-5yrs of Recent Supervisory/Managerial Experience within Public Accounting
