Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Civil Estimator to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals for civil construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare detailed estimates and proposals for civil construction projects.
Utilize OST software to accurately calculate materials, labor, and equipment costs.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to determine project scope, timelines, and budgets.
Review and evaluate subcontractor bids to ensure compliance with project requirements and budget.
Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and change orders as required.
Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and project costs.
Participate in project meetings and provide cost analysis and recommendations as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction estimating.
Advanced knowledge of Sitework, earthwork, UG Utilities, Geotechnical, and Civil Construction.
Proficient in the use of OST software or similar estimating programs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
