My client is a top commercial construction firm in the Boston area. We are looking for a superintendent with experience with ground-up multifamily or commercial construction to join the team. What You Will Be Doing
Manage daily operations in the field on assigned projects.
Supervise construction efforts and ensure the project follows design, budget, and schedule.
Assist in the creation of schedules and provide monthly schedules to project management.
Ensure safety measures are followed on all job sites according to OSHA guidelines.
Work with preconstruction manager and project manager on preconstruction.
Attend weekly meetings and discuss procedures, problems, and other items with contractors.
Coordinate materials on job sites, and provide QC inspections
Inspect work of contractors for omissions.
Record progress of project in daily reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Needed
3+ years of superintendent experience.
Experience with commercial or multifamily projects.
Proven track record of completing projects on time and under budget.
OSHA 10 or 30 required.
Proficient with MS Office, Projects and Procore or ability to learn software's quickly.
Bachelors degree beneficial but not required.
