Position Overview The Tax Senior will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and review of tax returns for a variety of clients, including S-Corps, C-Corps, partnerships, and individuals. This position requires a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as experience with tax preparation software. The Tax Senior will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to junior staff members and communicating with clients and tax authorities.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare tax returns for S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, and Individuals
Research and interpret tax laws and regulations
Assist in tax planning and strategy for clients
Communicate with clients and tax authorities regarding tax filings and inquiries
Mentor and train junior staff members
Assist in the preparation of financial statements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting
3+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning
Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, Lacerte
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
