The Roehrl Lab at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and Harvard Medical School in Boston has an immediate postdoc opening (PhD, MD/PhD, or MD) for motivated individuals with strong backgrounds in cell/cancer biology, immunology, stem cell biology, biochemistry, disease models (cell culture, organoids, xenografts, or animal models), proteomics (mass spectrometry)/genomics, and/or informatics.
The Roehrl Lab studies various human cancers (colon, lung, pancreas, and sarcomas) using integrated multi-omic approaches and functional ex vivo models. We are also studying how the immune system recognizes autoantigens in cancer and the interplay between stem cells and autoimmunity and cancer.

Qualifications
PhD or MD/PhD in a relevant field (such as Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Proteomics/Genomics, or related field), or MD with extensive lab experience equivalent to a PhD
Recent graduates with no prior postdoc experience preferred
Strong publication record from prior graduate research project
Laboratory Skills, Research, and Data Analysis skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Experience in cancer research or autoimmunity research
