Job Description:

Job Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audit Manager to lead and oversee a diverse range of accounting, auditing, and consulting activities for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to a varied client base, including healthcare entities, not-for-profit organizations, casinos, hospitality businesses, financial institutions, and local and tribal governments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Management: Organize and supervise auditing and consulting services for a broad spectrum of clients. Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Audit Execution: Lead and manage the execution of audits and consulting projects. This includes planning, scoping, and delivering quality audits in compliance with AICPA, GAAP, FASB, and GASB standards.
  • Operational Improvement: Review, evaluate, and provide constructive feedback on internal control systems and management performance. Offer recommendations for enhancements to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Scope Management: Communicate any changes in scope promptly to the Manager and/or Principal. Ensure all modifications are handled efficiently and within the project framework.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with Managers and/or Principals to meet deadlines and achieve project objectives. Participate actively in the planning phase to address key issues and optimize work approaches.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Certifications: Current CPA license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of seven years in public accounting with a proven track record of managing audits and consulting projects.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of AICPA professional standards, GAAP, FASB, and GASB pronouncements.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet client and project requirements.
