What You Will Be Doing
Assess and identify tax compliance and consulting needs of the client
Review complex tax returns: individual (1040), estate (1041) and some partnership (1065) tax returns
Review complex tax computations, workpapers, and tax entries
Proactively identify new and additional service opportunities and offer recommendations
Oversee the delegation of tasks to appropriate members of the PCS team
Responsible for signing tax returns
Manage year-end planning and quarterly tax estimates
Oversee processes addressing IRS or State Taxing Authority notices
Delegate and oversee the initial preparation and set-up of client files
Research tax laws and offer guidance on complex tax technical issues
What You Need for this Position
At least 5+ yrs of Public accounting experience
At least 2+ yrs of Management experience
Active CPA license
Extensive 1040/1041 experience
Experience with 1065 is a plus
