Alliance Resource Group has partnered with a local CPA firm looking to add a tax manager to their team. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset and be responsible for the tax compliance and consulting for the firm's tax clientele.
This firm specializes in small to mid-size clientele. The tax compliance is an even split between pass through and high net worth individuals. Most importantly, their firm's motto is we work to live and max busy season hours at 48 hours/week.
This firm will consider candidates who are looking for an opportunity post tax season as well.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Facilitate and manage the preparation and review of Individual and Business Tax Returns
Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections
Manage members of the tax team as they prepare components of the tax returns and other tax filings/documents
Prepare complex tax returns and identify tax planning opportunities
Stay up to date with tax legislation and apply new tax rulings to current clientele
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Equivalent
Min. of 6 plus years of tax experience preferably in a smaller CPA firm environment
Must have a CPA or EA license
