Salary: $110,000 - $150,000/year Base Salary Founded in 1945, we are a leading electrical/construction subcontractor with a strong reputable name that provides the highest level of quality and safety in the electrical construction industry. Our portfolio of projects range from Healthcare, Sports and Entertainment, Education to Mission Critical, Technology, and Public Works Projects.
We are looking for a Electrical Project Manager with strong experience electrical project management, electrical systems, and proven team mentoring and management.
What You Will Be Doing
Plan and organize a project
Prepare project estimates, scope, and present proposals to clients
Interact with vendors to secure best project pricing
Train and effectively supervise Project Engineers in the company philosophy and systems
Negotiate and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project
Monitor construction activities in conjunction with the onsite Foreman and General Superintendent to ensure project is being built on schedule, and within budgets
Supervise the preparation of any and all change quotations for presentation to the prime client. Negotiate all change quotations to a conclusion
Prepare monthly costing reports
Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the client
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those listed above and other duties may be assigned
What You Need For This Position
Bachelor's degree in construction, construction mangement, or related field; or related construction experience
7+ years with Electrical Project Management
Knowledgeable with construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods
Proven experience with team management: mentoring/training/equipping
Business Development/Client interaction is a bonus point
Proficient with computer/Microsoft Office - Spectrum experience preferred
Strong Professionalism
